Overview

Lone Star Track & Field Club (Lone Star TFC) is a community-centered athletic development program serving youth, middle school and high school athletes across Montgomery County and surrounding areas. Founded on the principles of evidence-based coaching, movement quality, and long-term athlete development, Lone Star TFC provides a structured pathway for athletes ages 6–18 to grow in speed, strength, confidence, and character.

Our training system is built on modern performance science — acceleration mechanics, max-velocity development, and age-appropriate strength and power progressions. Athletes train inside a supportive, family-centered environment where they are seen, challenged, and developed with intention.

In just five years, Lone Star TFC has trained more than 300 athletes, producing:

We operate year-round through structured 12-week training cohorts, seasonal testing, and a Summer Competition Team that supports all event groups — sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and middle-distance/distance.
